Freegrids is a recently founded non-profit research and advocacy organisation founded by three students from Malmö University in the summer of 2023. We are dedicated to contributing to the energy transition by following our mission of driving sustainable development in the energy sector and ensuring energy security for all through decentralised, clean, and affordable energy solutions. Freegrids does so by conducting research on decentralised energy solutions and working closely with the needs of stakeholders in the energy transition.
